Subsidiary of LARENA group and GB ACTION, our company develops and produces high added value food ingredients, from our own research programs and / or in collaboration with public or private partners. By developing our innovation and expertise in this topic, we do maintain a high level of service quality and do guarantee food security for our ingredients.

Company history

GENIBIO opens a second site for the production of ingredients on the Z.I. of Couserans.
Genibio has set up a Food Safety Management System and is now certified according to the ISO 22000 standard.
Genibio obtains the ISO 9001 V2008 certification as well as that of operator in Organic Agriculture for our freeze drying plant.
Genibio takes a new step forward by settling in new premises specially equipped to gather all our activities, thus becoming fully active throughout the value chain.
Genibio brings together all of its activities in the industrial area of Couserans in Ariège.
Genibio makes the choice of production: GENIBIO INDUSTRIE was created in the french department of Ariège, to produce innovative ingredients issued from our research programs.
François Paul, Ph.D. in Enzymatic Engineering, with large experience in pharmaceutical biotechnology companies creates GENIBIO with the help of both Professor Pierre MONSAN from INSA Toulouse and Dr. Christian LECLERC, President of PiLèJe, pionneer in micronutrition, in 1998, in Toulouse, a dedicated R & D structure in biocatalysis and microbiology.
